FILMS: All film screenings are held outdoors on the beachside of the Discovery Mall (Kuta reef beach) on jalan Kartika Plaza in Kuta.
SURF PHOTO CONTEST: sign up now with your best surf shot and be part of the 4 day expo at the Ombak Bali film festival. There will be cash prizes as well as product prizes from event sponsor Electric eyewear. To sign up and submit your photo email surftimemagazine@gmail.com
You can submit 1 printable photo (300 DPI and CMYK) before July 1, 2010 and the photos must be surf related and can have anything to do with waves, surfing, and/or beach lifestyle.
PROGRAMME MAG: the Ombak Bali programme magazine can be picked up by July 7, 2010 at surf shops, surf schools, Black Dog, the Balconey, Magic Wave office, Discovery Mall, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel and many restaurants around Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu and the Bukit.
Volunteers
What can you expect as a volunteer?
The Ombak Bali Film Festival is a busy period in which you work intensively and cooperate with nice colleagues in an informal working environment. In return for your efforts you get free tickets for film screenings, food and drinks during your shifts, the official festival t-shirt and a very good time!
What do we expect from you?
As a volunteer we expect you to be available during the festival period and work a minimum of 2 shifts. There are several different volunteer jobs you can do. Availability before the festival can be an advantage as we will have a meeting. Furthermore we expect from volunteers that they speak English, as it is an international film festival.

What is Ombak Bali International Surf Film Festival
Ombak Bali is the premier showcase for international independent surf films & documentaries in South East Asia. Based in Bali, Indonesia Ombak Bali will showcase Indonesian and international surf films and documentaries and provide filmmakers who are exploring the diversity of surfing an opportunity to present their work to a larger audience. Ombak Bali will celebrate it’s 3rd edition this July bringing the best in national and international surf films to Kuta, Bali.
